Oakhill fields one of the strongest swim teams in NSW, with numerous students each year selected to represent the ISA, CIS, NSW and Australia. With a newly constructed 25 metre Indoor heated pool, Oakhill students can train in one of the best facilities in the area, with the pool exclusively used by Oakhill students.

Although students train year round, the inter school competitions do not start until term 1, with the College team competing at three carnivals prior to the ISA Championships,  early March (5th March 2010).

As one would expect, competition for selection into the College team is fierce. Trials for the swim team usually take place in February, with an expanded team selected for the Oakhill Invitational Carnival (vs St Aloysius and Riverview) mid February.

Congratulations to Grant Brits (Year 12 2005) was selected to represent Australia in the 2008 Olympics. Grant captained the College team and still holds a number of records. Grant competed int he 4 x 200 relay at Beijing, swimming the third leg. Australia finished with a bronze medal. Well done Grant!

Congratulations also to Andrew Pasterfield (Year 12 2008) who was selected to represent Australia in the Disabled Olympics in Beijing. Well done Andrew on this fine achievement.
