The Club provides Saturday morning cricket for Under 9’s to Under 15’s in the Northern District Cricket Association (NDCA). The competition covers a region from the College to Ryde, Dundas, Rydalmere, Strathfield, Balmain and Berala. For details on the junior competition please follow the link http://www.ocjcc.nsw.cricket.com.au or click the following to download a junior registration form  http://www.ocjcc.nsw.cricket.com.au/files/4408/files/OCJCC%20Registration%20Form%202011%202012.pdf

Registration for 2011/12 will take place on the 6th of August under Benildus Hall at Oakhill College for all age groups from 9am till 12pm and is followed with grading and training sessions prior to the commencement of the season proper. Year 6 students who will be attending Oakhill in 2012 can regester for the under 12's or 13's on this day.

Once registration has taken place and numbers have been organised training will take place in mid September for the Juniors and the start of September for the First and Second XI.

The Saturday morning competition is generally played over two days but there is the occasional one-dayer. The season starts in mid-September and continues to mid-March.   There is no play in the December/January school vacation period.

Players are encouraged to play representative cricket and to also seek selection in the College cricket teams, such as the Berg Shield and the First XI. The Berg Shield team (Under 15’s) is also selected in term 4 and involves participation in a mid week Catholic Schools Knockout. Year Seven students have the opportunity to trial for the Berg Shield team, remembering that it is an under 15’s competition. Oakhill are current Berg Shield Champions, having won the trophy for the second time in three seasons.

The 1st XI entered the ISA cricket competition in 2008 and enjoyed a successful first season.  Oakhill 1st XI also compete in the Downie Shield competition.  The 1st's and 2nd's impressed  throughout the 2010 / 2011 season with both teams making the ISA final.  Unfortunately they both fell one game short of the title and they ended the season as runners-up.  Well done to our senior teams for the season 2010 / 2011.
