Oakhill College Cricket Club operates under the auspices of Oakhill College. Junior players (Under 13’s – 16’s ) can represent Oakhill College cricket Club in the Northern Districts competition, while senior students have the opportunity to represent the College 1st XI in the ISA competition
The Club provides Saturday morning cricket for Under 10’s to Under 16’s and seniors in the afternoon in the Northern District Cricket Association (NDCA). The competition covers a region from the College to Ryde, Dundas, Rydalmere, Strathfield, Balmain and Berala.
Registration takes place in early August and is followed with grading and training sessions prior to the commencement of the season proper. With this in mind, Year 7 students can not register to play for the College until term 3.

The Saturday morning competition is generally played over two days but there is the occasional one-dayer. The season starts in mid-September and continues to mid-March. There is no play in the December/January school vacation period.
Players are encouraged to play representative cricket and to also seek selection in the College cricket teams, such as the Berg Shield and the First XI. The Berg Shield team (Under 15’s) is also selected in term 4 and involves participation in a mid week Catholic Schools Knockout. Year Seven students have the opportunity to trial for the Berg Shield team, remembering that it is an under 15’s competition. Oakhill are current Berg Shield Champions, having won the trophy for the second time in three seasons.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Tulevski at the College.
The 1st XI entered the ISA cricket competition in 2008 and enjoyed a successful first season, losing the semi finals to St Patrick’s College Strathfield. Selections for the 1st XI take place in August, with trials commencing in September. The College expects to field a 2nd XI in the ISA competition in 2008/2009.
