Oakhill wins the junior, intermediate and overall ISA Athletics Shield!

Athletics is enjoying a resurgence at Oakhill, with students competing in ISA competition since 2005. Current year 12 student James Kaan has enjoyed outstanding success over the past two years, having being selected this year to once again compete at the World Youth games. James finished 8th in the 800 metre race - a great achievement!

Selection for the College athletics team is based on performance at the College athletics carnival - held on the School grounds in August. For all field events, first place is selected, while for all short distance track events, usually two runners represent the College.

Age groups range from under 12's through to under 18's. Girls can compete in the senior age groups - under 17 and under 18's
